HOCLOOP Project General Assembly Meeting in Darmstadt

Over two dynamic days, participants engaged in riveting presentations and discussions, delving into the intricacies of the HOCLOOP Project. A special highlight included a visit to the Darmstadt Technical University’s medium-depth borehole energy storage facility. This facility, set to integrate with the heating network of TU Darmstadt through the EU project PUSH-IT, is under consideration for expansion using the HOCLOOP solution to meet the university’s heating needs.

Heartfelt gratitude goes to all the speakers for their invaluable contributions, and special thanks to our esteemed partners at Technische Universität Darmstadt for hosting this fantastic event. The in-person meeting provided a unique opportunity to discuss achievements, upcoming milestones, and foster stronger connections among project collaborators.

As we look to the future, the outcomes of this meeting set the stage for continued progress in the HOCLOOP Project. Armed with an expanded network of collaborations and a deeper understanding of work package interdependencies, we are better equipped to address complex challenges and find innovative solutions. This assembly served as a platform to celebrate successes, share knowledge, and reinforce our commitment to making environmentally friendly geothermal energy solutions more accessible throughout Europe.
